Storage or instant?
Both heat water. They cost different amounts, last different lengths, and suit different households. Plain-English comparison from a Singapore-licensed installer — and an honest recommendation for your specific home.
Side by side, no marketing.
Honest rows from someone who installs both every week.
Pick by household, not by brand.
We size to how you actually use hot water — occupants, bathrooms, shower frequency. Not whichever unit the marketing pushed.
Continuous hot water for back-to-back showers. Don't overspend on a storage tank you'll never fully use. Compact units fit above most HDB showers.
Borderline. Storage gives stronger pressure + constant temperature. Instant saves running cost. If shower frequency is high, lean storage.
Two consecutive showers won't run out, plus a kitchen sink draw. Modern storage tanks reheat fast enough (15–20 min) for a third shower.
Larger family, or hot water needed at multiple points simultaneously. Sometimes we install two units — one per bathroom — for total isolation.
