Privacy Policy

Effective from 20 May 2026

SparkFlow Pte Ltd ("SparkFlow", "we", "us") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

1. Who we are

SparkFlow Pte Ltd is a home-services business registered in Singapore (UEN registered with ACRA). Our HDB Licensed Contractor number is HB-10-5499Z and our ME05 Electrical Contractor licence is L1. Our registered address is 9010 Tampines Street 93, #02-125, Singapore 528844.

2. What we collect

We only collect personal data that you give us directly, or that's necessary to provide the services you've asked for:

  • Contact details — name, phone number, email, and address (so we can quote you, schedule a visit, and bill you).
  • WhatsApp messages — content, photos and videos you send to our business line, kept for job-history reference.
  • Service details — your home type, the issue you're describing, dates of past jobs.
  • Payment details — bank-transfer reference numbers and PayNow records. We do not store credit-card numbers — those go directly to our payment processor.
  • Website analytics — anonymised data about which pages you visit (Google Analytics). No personally-identifying information is collected this way without your consent.

3. Why we collect it

  • To quote, schedule and complete the services you ask for
  • To follow up on warranty work and repeat servicing
  • To send job confirmations, arrival times and invoices
  • To send you receipts and warranty terms
  • To improve our website and services (only aggregate, anonymised data)
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share data with parties who help us deliver our service:

  • Our staff and contractors — only the team member assigned to your job sees your contact details.
  • Suppliers (when relevant) — e.g. for warranty registration on a water heater or aircon we installed.
  • Technical service providers — Google (Workspace email, Analytics), Meta (WhatsApp Business), Vercel (website hosting). Each operates under their own published privacy policy.
  • Regulators — if compelled by Singapore law (EMA, HDB, IRAS, courts).

We don't transfer your data overseas except where our service providers (Google, Meta, Vercel) operate global infrastructure. Those providers offer contractual protections at least equivalent to what PDPA requires.

5. How long we keep it

We keep job-related data for as long as it's useful to honour our warranty and respond to follow-up issues, then for a further 6 years to satisfy our tax and accounting obligations. After that we delete it.

6. How we protect it

  • Encrypted in transit (HTTPS on this website, end-to-end on WhatsApp).
  • Limited access — only authorised team members see customer details.
  • Cloud accounts (Google Workspace, Meta Business) protected by two-factor authentication.
  • No paper records of personal data kept on-site beyond the active job.

7. Your rights under PDPA

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct — ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
  • Withdraw consent — ask us to stop using your data (note this may affect our ability to serve you).

To exercise any of these, email sales@sparkflow.com.sg with the subject line "Privacy request". We'll respond within 30 days as PDPA requires.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses essential cookies (to remember your preferences) and anonymised analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the website will still work but some features (like remembering your preferences across visits) won't.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update the "Effective from" date at the top of this page and notify recent customers by email or WhatsApp.
