Conventional Hood — common questions

Do you install cooker hoods?
Yes. We supply the hood and install it, including mounting and connecting ducting or setting it up for recirculation. Installation is quoted on top of the hood price once we see your kitchen layout.
Which cooker hood brands do you carry?
Our range includes Mayer, Tecno, EF, Rinnai, Turbo, Teka, Bertazzoni, Otimmo, Uno, Midea and more, mostly in slimline designs that tuck under a cabinet.
What hood width do I need?
Match the hood to your hob: a 60cm hob usually pairs with a 60cm hood, and wider cooktops suit a 90cm hood. For heavy wok cooking, a wider hood with stronger extraction helps. Tell us your hob size on WhatsApp and we'll recommend accordingly.
How much do cooker hoods cost?
Conventional and slimline hoods start from $199 and go up to around $3,218 depending on brand, width and extraction power. Installation is quoted separately based on ducting needs.
Can the hood vent outside in an HDB kitchen?
It depends on your kitchen's existing ducting and HDB's guidelines. Many flats use ducted extraction where provision exists, otherwise hoods run in recirculation mode with carbon filters. We'll assess your setup before installing.
