How much does a full HDB repaint cost?

SparkFlow's current guide ranges are $1,200-1,600 for a 3-room, $1,500-2,200 for a 4-room, $1,800-2,800 for a 5-room and $2,200-3,400 for an Executive flat. The selected paint, preparation, measured surfaces, access, occupancy and special finishes determine the written price; any product upgrade is itemised rather than assigned a universal surcharge.

How long does it take?

3-room: 1.5-2 days. 4-room: 2-3 days. 5-room: 2.5-3.5 days. Larger units 3-4 days. We work standard hours (9am-6pm) with daily clean-up so the home stays livable if you're staying through the job.

Do I need to move out?

Accepted Answer

Not always. The decision depends on room sequencing, ventilation, occupants, pets, access and the selected product's recoat and cure instructions. If you stay, agree which rooms and facilities remain usable. Vacating may improve access, but this page does not promise a fixed speed multiplier or duration.

What about furniture?

Agree a furniture plan before work. Light movable items may be repositioned and protected if the quote includes it; heavy, fragile, valuable or built-in items can need owner removal or specialist handling. Protection and furniture labour affect the price and should not be assumed from a headline repaint rate.

Can I pick any colour?

Accepted Answer

Choose from colours available for the selected product and tint base. An original code or physical swatch is more reliable than a phone photo, and strong colour changes may alter primer or coat needs. Any premium product or colour charge is stated in the quote rather than applied as a generic surcharge.

What if my walls have heavy stains, cracks, or peeling?

Active damp or leakage must be resolved before painting. Loose coatings, stains and cracks are assessed for cause and preparation; wider, recurring or changing cracks may need a contractor or professional assessment. The quote states repairs, compatible sealer or primer and any variation instead of using width alone.

Will you paint the ceiling?

The full-unit scope can include the listed main-room ceilings and bathroom ceilings if the substrate is sound and dry. Lights, detectors, grilles and other devices are masked or worked around; safety devices are not painted. False-ceiling details and damaged areas are itemised separately.

Do I get a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Rely on the workmanship-warranty terms written in your SparkFlow quote, including duration, covered defects, exclusions and claim process. Manufacturer coverage varies by exact paint product and conditions; check the current product document rather than assuming a three- or five-year warranty from the brand name alone.
