How much does a full HDB repaint cost?

3-room: $1,200-1,600. 4-room: $1,500-2,200. 5-room: $1,800-2,800. EA/Executive: $2,200-3,400. Pricing assumes mid-spec emulsion (Nippon Vinilex, Dulux EasyClean). Premium paints (Nippon Spotless, Dulux Wash & Wear) +$200-400 per unit. Designer/textured walls quoted separately.

How long does it take?

3-room: 1.5-2 days. 4-room: 2-3 days. 5-room: 2.5-3.5 days. Larger units 3-4 days. We work standard hours (9am-6pm) with daily clean-up so the home stays livable if you're staying through the job.

Question 3

Do I need to move out?

Accepted Answer

Not strictly — many clients stay through. We work one room at a time so you always have somewhere to sleep + cook. If you want a faster turnaround (1.5x speed) you can move out for 2-3 nights — we work continuously across rooms in that mode.

Question 4

What about furniture?

Accepted Answer

Light furniture: we shift it to the centre of each room + cover with drop sheets. Heavy/built-in (wardrobes, kitchen cabinets): drop-sheeted in place. If you'd prefer to move things out yourselves, totally fine — slightly cheaper since we skip the protection step.

Question 5

Can I pick any colour?

Yes. Bring colour codes from the Nippon / Dulux range OR show us a photo of what you want — we'll match it. Most ranges have a tinting machine at the supplier so we can mix any colour. Premium colour palettes (designer brand collections) sometimes +$50-100 per unit.

What if my walls have heavy stains, cracks, or peeling?

Mild staining + minor surface cracks: included in the base price. Heavy water-damage stains (sealer-required) +$80-150 per affected wall. Major cracks (>2mm wide) require filler + sanding + extra primer — quoted on site.

Question 7

Will you paint the ceiling?

Accepted Answer

Yes — flat-white ceiling refresh is included in the full-repaint price for all the main rooms. Bathroom ceilings included. We don't paint over false-ceiling LED strips or smoke detectors unless you ask.

Question 8

Do I get a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes — 30-day workmanship warranty. Any peeling, bubbling, or finish issues that aren't caused by water damage or new construction settling, we come back free + fix. Paint itself carries the manufacturer's warranty (Nippon: 3 years, Dulux: 5 years on premium ranges).
