Why does post-reno cleaning cost more than regular cleaning?

Cement dust is everywhere — every cabinet interior, every ledge, every crevice. Tile haze on floors needs an acid wash. Paint specks on glass need solvent. Total time is 2-3x a normal clean because the dust is microscopic + sticky.

How long does it take?

3-room: 5-7 hours (2-3 techs). 4-room: 6-8 hours. 5-room: 7-9 hours. Full landed: 1-2 days depending on size. Aim to do it before furniture arrives — saves 30-50% on time + ensures we can reach everywhere.

Do I need to wait for the renovation to fully complete?

Accepted Answer

Yes — wait for ALL contractor work to finish (including any final paint touch-ups). Cleaning before final touches means you'll need a second clean. Same applies to AC install — schedule AC before our visit if possible.

Will my new floors be safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we use pH-neutral cleaners on natural stone (marble, granite), specific tile cleaners for ceramic / porcelain, and vinegar-safe wipe on engineered wood. We ask what flooring you have before quoting so we bring the right kit.

What about chemical smells?

We use low-odour commercial cleaners. The unit will smell of cleaner for 24 hours after — ventilate well. Eco-friendly options available on request (slightly less aggressive but safer for sensitive noses).

Do you also clean the AC + appliances installed during reno?

Accepted Answer

Surface clean yes — wipe down housings, vacuum filters, sanitise interior of dishwasher / oven. Deep AC service (chemical wash) is a separate scope — see /services/aircon/chemical-wash if needed.

Can I do this AND move-in cleaning as one job?

Accepted Answer

Yes — typical bundle is post-reno + sanitise pass for $450-700 (depending on flat type). Done as one continuous visit. Most cost-effective if you're moving in right after reno.
