Why bother with move-in cleaning if the seller cleaned?

A move-in scope can cover empty cabinet interiors, accessible appliance surrounds, fridge seals, removable AC filters and bathroom surfaces that a presentation clean may omit. It does not certify a home as sterile or replace appliance servicing, mould remediation, pest treatment or repair of a moisture source.

How much does move-in cleaning cost?

3-room HDB: $280–380. 4-room: $350–480. 5-room: $420–580. Condo, EA and landed homes are by quote. The empty-unit scope can include an accessible removable AC filter, unplugged fridge interior and cabinet wipe; confirm every included task before booking.

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

3-room: 4-5 hours. 4-room: 5-6 hours. 5-room: 6-7 hours. Best done before you move furniture in — empty unit means we can clean every corner properly.

Should I do it before or after my furniture arrives?

Accepted Answer

Before is usually easier because the agreed floor, cabinet and appliance areas remain accessible. Once furniture arrives, some areas may need to be excluded or repriced. We do not promise a fixed percentage time saving; send current photos so access is reflected in the quote.

Do you clean the fridge and AC?

Accepted Answer

The scope may include an empty fridge interior and seals after the appliance is switched off and unplugged, plus a removable AC filter and exterior cover where manufacturer instructions allow. Coils, drains, electrical parts and internal aircon servicing are separate technical work.

What about mould spots in old bathrooms?

A small reachable patch on a sound hard surface can be assessed for compatible surface cleaning. We stop for widespread or recurring growth, active leakage, soft or damaged material, overhead work or electrical proximity. Cleaning does not fix condensation, plumbing or ceiling-leak causes.

Can you also handle post-renovation dust?

Post-renovation dust and cured residue are a separate scope with different equipment and material checks. The services can be combined, but we inspect the condition and provide a written combined quote rather than relying on an unsupported fixed bundle price.

Can I request a lower-fragrance product?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tell us about fragrance, household and surface constraints before the visit. We select one compatible product and follow its label, dilution, contact time, rinse and ventilation instructions. We do not mix vinegar, citric acid, bleach, disinfectants or other cleaners into an improvised formula.
