It is cast as a solid piece from a polyester resin and marble stone powder blend, giving it a dense body that holds water temperature for a longer soak. The surface is non-porous and easy to keep clean, and light damage can be sanded rather than replaced. As a solid-cast tub it carries real weight, so allow room around it when planning the install.
