3 Reasons Why You Should Service Your Air-Con

Living in a country that temperature can hit an appalling heat, it has become a norm among the young and elderly that we easily whip out the remote out and hit the ‘ On ‘ button. Needless to say, this remote refers to our air-conditional’s remote control. We hit the on button when the weather is uncomfortably hot, when we feel we deserve to have a relaxing break, when we are about to start our work and most importantly, when we are able to take the day’s off.

All these sounds familiar? If so, you really need to read on and learn about the importance of servicing your air-conditional.

We all understand that a constant usage also means a constant need of maintenance. In general, even us human, when we have been working hard for a long period of time, we get exhausted and require a well-deserving break. This too, applies to our air-conditional!

Ask any experienced air-conditional service man, they would also advice you to service your air-con every quarter and here are just three of the many reasons why.

1. Saving on servicing will lead to higher electrical bills.

Have you ever wondered why even though you’ve set the temperature of your air-con at the usual temperature, it is still relatively warm and the next thing you do would be to set the temperature lower? If you have, you have joined most consumers that have unknowingly caused a bigger hole in your pocket. By lowering the temperature, your air-con would have to use more electricity to generate that same level of coolness that you are looking for.

2. Wear and tear

All of us know that anything mechanical will require some level of servicing... just like how a pencil will need to be sharpened when it starts to blunt. By having your air-con constantly serviced by professionals, you would know what is wrong with your air-con even before it happens. No one wants to have a car spoiled on the way for an important business meeting and the same goes where it is an exceptionally hot day and you are unable to use the air-con. By having your air-con serviced, such problems can be inspected and would save time and cost for you.

3. Refrigerant levels check

Having a constant check on refrigerant levels is important as one mistake can lead to a failure of the air-con compressor. This is an important factor in many ways. Firstly, without enough refrigerant your air-con would sustain more stress to pump the same level of coolant. This may cause extensive stress on the condenser which would require a replacement of a new air-con. Secondly, it is to check for leakages that might happen as pipes age. All these can only be inspected by professional air-con services.

As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure! Why not take the first step to prevent additional costs that you incur? Drop us a call or message to find out more on how we can help you save more!
